Removes requirement that Oregon’s trade representative in China be based in Shanghai. Requires Oregon trade representative in China, with Economic and Community Development Department, to promote the development of trade and the use of Oregon’s environmental protection expertise to expand opportunities for Oregon businesses in China.

HB 2252

Increases membership and duties of International Trade Commission. Increases voting membership from nine to 15, including addition of representatives of Pacific Northwest International Trade Association, Board of Agriculture, and the Port of Portland. Directs Commission to advocate for international trade and promote Oregon’s international trade agenda.
